Musical chairs

Everyone knows musical chairs, kids adore it and it’s a very easy game to organise at a party.

You need an audio source (CD player, Smartphone, tablet, etc.), to play the music, and chairs, which you place in a circle, facing outwards. The game begins with the number of chairs equal to the number of children minus one. Start the music and ask the children to walk round the chairs all in the same direction. When you pause the music, the children have to quickly find a chair to sit on. The child who has not been able to find a chair is eliminated and another chair is removed from the game. The game ends when there is only one child left.
